Our Supply Partners

COLES

Coles has been a generous supporter of the Make A Difference Community.
Senior management has allowed us to purchase many tonnes of pasta at the subsidised rate of their home brand. The price is around 25% cheaper than any price we can negotiate with any manufacturer and has resulted in hundreds of thousands of additional meals being provided.

In the 2019 financial year, Coles provided over $101 million in direct support of those in dire need of food assistance. Coles works with SecondBite and Foodbank to donate surplus fresh food to approximately 1,300 community food programs.

MORGANS IGA

From the very beginning Peter Morgan has supported our program by providing pasta at cost price. Morgans has also help facilitate bulk purchases of “short” pasta that is specifically required by FareShare. The pasta is ordered by the pallet and delivered by courier to the FareShare warehouse.

The IGA group has raised over $86 million to help support local communities. The IGA’s commitment to social change is evident within their Community Chest initiative which supports local communities, charities and worthwhile causes.

Vaibhav International

Thanks to the CEO, Vikas Dewan, we have been able to supply many tonnes of high grade basmati rice to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre in Footscray. This rice is imported directly from India and passed on at absolute cost to the Make A Difference Community.
The ASRC is an inspirational NFP that provides hot meals every day to the disadvantaged people they support.

Additionally they provide a well stocked food pantry for their clients who have not enough money to buy supplies for their family.
Basmati rice is a staple food product and has helped make an enormous difference to thousands of disadvantaged people.
